One Source Staffing is immediately hiring for Material Planers that will be responsible for:
  • Create production orders in the manufacturing plant, considering many factors such as equipment load and available capacity, product mix (stock versus make to order), and material availability.
  • Expedite production orders past due in production phase or due to date improvement requests by customers.
  • Review and act on order exception reports generated by the SAP system.
  • Use SAP data to interpret material movements, quantities on order, and current need for items on order.
  • Responsible for on-time ship notes on customer ship complete orders by ensuring all parts being manufactured/purchased are confirmed to be on-time.
  • Provide support for special projects within the department by completing assessments, utilizing historical records from SAP to determine proper safety stock and lot size to manage inventory levels.
  • Perform weekly and monthly KPI reporting.
  • Work alongside a team of other Material Planners to help achieve company goals of increasing on-time delivery and reduction throughput time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Computer ability is required, including experience with SAP ERP software, MS Office 360 applications, and Windows 10.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing practices, materials, finishes, blueprint reading, and metric system preferred.
  • Associates/Bachelor’ s Degree in Supply Chain Operations or APICS/ASCM CPIM certification preferred.
  • Qualified candidates will have two years of practical work experience as a Material Planner/Scheduler in an engineer/make-to-order, manufacture setting.
